Melissa would like to share her knowledge and experience of theatre performance by teaching dancing to children and adults. Her humble and welcoming nature provides a space for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
Children's Classes (Ages 4 Up)
Children's classes involve learning three dance disciplines (Tap, Jazz-ballet, and Song & Dance) in the convenience of one class, with a focus on performance development. Melissa ensures that the children are taught in a nurturing and encouraging way. During these classes the children prepare for an end of year performance at the Princess Theatre in November.
Adult Classes
Melissa’s adult classes involve teaching Tap and Jazz-ballet to adults from beginners to advanced from ages 16 to 80 years. Dancers learn a new dance each term in preparation for our end of year concert at the Princess Theatre or just for fun. In the jazz classes we learn different dance genres including, Broadway, Burlesque, Bollywood, Contemporary, and Disco to name a few.
